Random Anime: 2015

Friday, School, 3 PM-

“Tsukino! Hurry up! We’re going to the book store, remember?” yelled my friend, Rina over my class window.

“Okay-okay, I’m coming!” I quickly put the broom back where I found it and grabbed my bag and ran out of the class as quick as I can. “No running in the hallways!” reminded my teacher, “Yes ma’am…” I replied and I ended up speed walking my way out of the school.

“Why were you cleaning your class by yourself? What happened to the others?” Rina asked looking at her watch. “One of them had to get into detention, one was sick and the third person had a family reunion so he went home early” I explained “Tough…” she complimented and we both went to the book store to buy some books (Obvious!!).

-Friday, Room, 7 PM-

My school has dorms for their students. A room for each student, my school has a total of 250 rooms. That’s what I read in my school flier. I stay in room 17, and Rina’s in room 27. Well, today we went to the book store together. I bought a book about animals and a fantasy comic. I want to be a vet someday. I’m not feeling that well though… Better rest, good thing tomorrow’s Saturday.

After writing in my journal, I got ready to sleep. I’m not feeling that well, I have a bad headache. “Maybe I can sleep it off…” I said to myself as I look into the mirror.

-Saturday, Room, 5 AM-

“Ugh… Why do I feel weird? I thought I’d feel better today…” I thought as I got off from my bed. I really did feel weird. As if something is moving behind me and slightly lifting the skirt of my dress, but nothing’s there. And I feel like my room is warmer than usual and my teeth feel kind of different. My ears don’t feel the same either.

As I went to the table to brush my hair, I saw that my hand is different. It has only 4 fingers, it’s furry and it has sharp nails. “What kind of illusion is this??” I said to myself looking at my hand. And as I went to see the mirror, this is how I looked like

I stood there in shock. I wanted to scream but ended up giving a roar. I quickly closed my mouth so nobody will be suspicious about my room. “I look just like an animal! More like a half-animal!!” I exclaimed quietly “How could this happen?? What did I do??” I thought to myself and suddenly somebody opened my door. “Get out!!” I yelled trying to hide myself fearing of the worst that could happen. But it was too late. The person who opened my door got inside and saw me. “Didn’t I lock the door??” I exclaimed “No, it wasn’t locked.” He answered “No way!!” I replied in shock

It was a boy. I haven’t seen him in this school. “You’re…” he stammered. “Don’t say this to anybody!!” I freaked out while backing up. “It’s okay, you can change back now.” He said “What do you mean change back? And who are you?? Why did you just barged into my room like that?!” And he showed a shocked face. Suddenly he walked up to me and said,

Boy: "Calm down, I know how you feel."
Tsukino: "You barged into my room! What do you mean?! I'm half-animal! You're just a-"
Boy: "Half-animal...like you. Trust me now? Sorry about invading your privacy."
Tsukino: "If you're also half-animal, are there others?"
Boy: "Yup! They are...a fox...a tigress...and our leader, a lion like you. He went missing recently. I came here looking for him, but... You two have similar scents so I messed up!"

“I don’t believe you.” I said with a sharp glare. “What, why?? I showed my half-animal form! You still don’t believe I’m half-animal like you??” he asked, shocked.

“What kind of canine would mess-up in their sense of smell? And you were using that sense to find somebody you know!”

“I’m not used to difference one lion with another. I also found a bit of his scent on you!”

“What do you mean? He’s the only lion? And that I have his scent? I never even met him!”

“Well, the source of his scent is here.” He said pointing at my cheek

“He must have met you somehow and you got his scent.” He said again

“Why are you still here anyway?? I’m not your leader!” I said really uncomfortable with his presence

“Is this your first time experiencing these changes?” he asked and I kept shut

“Well, you suddenly turned into a half-animal. I can’t just leave you here like this. You’ll get into more trouble and it will leak our presence to humans. Besides, we need more help from others.”

“What help? I couldn’t even control myself!”

“You got our leader’s scent, so you have met him somewhere. You might have something to do with him. And that’s one reason.”

“The other?” I asked and he went silent for a while

“I can’t tell you yet, you have to agree to help us first. The other reason is our secret…”

The sun was rising, and people are waking up. The boy looked over the window and quickly turned back into human.

“You have to turn back into human too.” He said looking at me

“I don’t know how!” I looked at him slightly panicked

“Just imagine yourself as a human, it’s that simple.”

“(simple for you to say…)” I thought as I imagine myself as a human

“See?” he exclaimed and as I looked into the mirror, he was right!

“Hey… um…” he tried to call my name that he has no idea about

“Tsukino. My name’s Tsukino.” I think I can trust him so I gave him my name

“Tsukino? I’m Ichiro.”

And there was silence for a moment

“I gotta get going. Oh yeah, your tail’s still there.” He reminded and I was shocked looking at my wagging tail. And he quickly left. I thought about what he said earlier about his missing leader and that he and his friends needed help. “I really want to help them but…” I started talking to myself and saw Ichiro running past my window. “Right, here I go…” I thought and quickly got out of my room through the window (thank goodness my room was at the bottom floor). I closed the window and chased him.

Being a half-animal is kind of interesting though… It heightens some of my senses… Like my sense of smell, sight and hearing. I also get heightened speed and stamina so I can easily follow Ichiro.

-Saturday, Wide Road, 10 AM-

I’ve been chasing Ichiro for 4 hours on high speed and I’m beat. “Where is he? *pant* I should’ve agreed to help before he left *pant* *pant*” and suddenly something touched my foot. It was a wolf pup about a few months old. “Huh? What are doing here??” I asked squatting down to pet it. It ran and looked back at me as if it was asking me to follow it. I’m a bit far from my dorm but I decided to follow it. I ended up in a narrow place between 2 tall buildings.

“What are you doing here?” I asked and the little wolf turned into a human.

“Decided to help us, Tsukino?” he asked

“That little wolf was you Ichiro??” I asked shocked

“You got guts to follow a stray wolf here.” He complimented

“Stray?”

“In the eyes of normal people, I’m a stray wolf pup roaming down the roads. We gotta hurry though. You have to change into your animal form if you want to help us.” He said while turning into a half-animal

“Just imagine” he reminded before he turned into a wolf pup

“Alright…” I thought and I turned into a lion cub (I actually did it!!)

“Come on, follow me! The cops might be searching for me.” He said

“What did you do??” I asked

“I’m a wild animal roaming around a city. What do you think society’s going to do?”

And we quickly ran towards the road.

“We gotta cross.” He said

“Through that road full of vehicles? We can be roadkill!”

“Trust me!” he looked at me

He quickly ran onto the road, and I followed behind him. The cars were honking their horns each time Ichiro and I pass in front of them. Suddenly came a few cops. “Shoot, they’re here.” Ichiro growled as they were blocking where we’re going. A cop came with a net about to capture us. “When I say split, you go left, and I’ll go right.” Ichiro explained his plan.

When we got close to the net, Ichiro growled “Split!” and we both split then we ran under the police car. We were almost near the forest until one of the cops shot a tranquilizer at both of us. When the tranquilizer was getting near…

CLIFFHANGER!!!

‘What’s gonna happen? Maybe they got tranquilized and brought to animal shelter or the zoo. Who knows.’

Tsukino: “Hey, of course you know what’s gonna happen! You’re the one who’s illustrating this story!”

Ichiro: “Make me go into the zoo or animal shelter and I’ll make my way to your world to have

revenge!”

‘As if you can do that’

Ichiro: “Grr I’m gonna get you for sure!”

And so, that’s how my characters react when I sarcastically describe

their future.

Ichiro: “So you were faking that??”

‘I can make it come true if you like’

Tsukino: “Who would want to end up in the zoo?!”
